Best goal for the occassion, the circumstances of the match, dribbling ability, pace, confusing defenders and beating the goalkeeper for me (and yes I am biased)....................Ryan Giggs FA Cup Semi Final Replay 1999.

Down to 10 men, Schmeichel saves a penalty at the death of normal time, 2nd period of extra time and Giggsy picks up a wayward pass around the centre of the park, dances around 5 or 6 Arsenal witches hats and smashes the ball into the top of the net.

United advance to the final.

Win their last home game to clinch the EPL.

Beat Newcastle in FA Cup Final to clinch a EPL & FA Cup Double.

Then amazingly score 2 goals in 90 seconds to beat Bayern in the ECL Final to complete an unprecedented EPL, FA Cup, ECL Treble.

And Gerrard's (second) equaliser in the 2006 FA Cup Final.

Just because you can't comprehend just how important those goals were, let laone being sheer pieces of brilliance.

I'll just throw another one out there. Maxi Rodriguez in the 2006 World Cup. Into extra time, chests it down on the right wing and belts it on the volley into the fast post netting. Absolute brilliance.
