Just continuing the polls here. Who do you think is currently the best player wearing number 7 on their gurnsey?

I think Lenny Hayes is the best at the moment but eventually, it'll be Higgins.

This is a pretty talented group, Hayes for now, but Higgins should become the best 7 out there soon enough.

On a side note, B. Miller for a 2nd rounder, any takers? :D

Hayes easily. Big ask for Higgins to overtake him, personally I don't think he will be as good, but still a quality player.

Hayes Taylor Higgins

I take this back.

When I said Harry Taylor, I was actually meaning Harry O'Brien from Collingwood who I really rate and think is very underrated.

In fact, I'd say O'Brien is a gun, but having said that, he doesn't wear #7.

Thus, I change my view to Hayes then Higgins.

Burgoyne and Simpson deserve mention for having top careers.

At his peak, I'd put Burgoyne above everyone else at their peak but Hayes.

200+ games, one of our last inaugural players, was an exceptional clearance and line-breaking midfielder, cannot believe how he never got an AA in his prime, has a premiership to his name, was equal best with pickett on the grand day, and was our best finals player in 2007.
