Toast Best Win Since...

I reckon that is our best win since our wins against the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood, back in 2010. If we think back, WB really had our number at that time (and probably still do), but we managed to win fairly convincingly (unfortunately it all went pear-shaped from then on!). Likewise, we were one of the few teams to beat Collingwood in 2010, as they went on to win the GF.

We've had some other good wins since then, but it's been a while since we've beaten a top team or a team who have had the wood on us.

Hopefully this is the sort of performance that we can build upon to remain competitive in challenging games and also pull off more wins against more fancied opponents.

In terms of entertainment, the 2009 EF ranks up there amongst the great wins, however, I'd suggest that WB and Collingwood in 2010 were tougher opponents for us to beat (both gave us hidings in the second half of 2009 as well).

Best win since we went over to Subi and beat them under Leigh. We were major underdogs and when the siren sounded Lethal was the happiest chappy ever with the fist pumping and what not.

How good was it just then when Drummond launched his third monster goal, then Brown backed up seconds later then I think Green. We were almost out of it... And they fired the **** up.

Also.... Can't believe we managed to get a finger to their match winner on the line... While Polks returned fire to tip us over. Amazing. I'm hitting play on the replay.

I think you've broken a taboo to bring up that 2001 game!

I'd also suggest that we had plenty more great wins after that example in 2001 (and better wins at that), up until the more recent, challenging years.
