Never understood how guys like Hall, Lockett, etc. always seemingly avoided retaliation or square-ups.
I'm not necessarily talking toe-to-toe, more so like a stray elbow or knee when they're in a vulnerable spot themselves, or a blatant king hit when they're not looking (a la Denis Banks on David Rhys-Jones).
Not saying it's the right thing to do at all, just surprised that nobody ever got overcome with anger or emotion and went past any fear factor and just said "f**k this guy!" and tried to get them back.
