Big Bash Game One - Melbourne Renegades v Melbourne Stars

Was a Stars fan but after yesterday I am considering jumping ship. And I don't just mean the fact that they lost.

Looks like lots of Stars hate happening, but I think it's fair to say that if it had not been for them, hardly anyone down here would have even been aware that the Big Bash was about to start. They are at least helping to generate some media attention and public interest to the tournament.

Hate to see what the crowd would have been like last night had they been quiet in the lead up to this week and it had been the Renegades playing some other team last night. Sub 15K perhaps?

No, I meant I would have not wanted to see how many there would have been had the Stars not been playing last night and had they been quiet in the lead up. I reckon they would have been lucky to have gotten 15K had that been the case.

I went there last night. I chose to follow the renegades because Eddie runs the stars. All my friends were backing the stars because of Warne. They all had jumped ship by the end of the night.

Was the first time I've been to a game. Was ok but wouldn't make it a regular thing.

I have to admit when I saw 'Strauchnie' supporting the renegades I almost went to the stars but I'm glad I didn't.

Thought action wise Warnie looked very solid, and still getting good fiz off the pitch. Aside from that one full toss, he landed most of them very well, Finch was just unstoppable

Still back the man to have an impact, he's just working his way into it
