I'm not going to make a comment on his score but I love Cameron Green and I think that all the women of Western Australia of child-bearing age should be volunteering to ensure we have a continual supply of his children available for selection.

As a man of child-bearing age*, I volunteer also.

How can you call it off for bad light when the batter just hit two sixes and a four in the over? Obviously he can see it quite well.

The rules are based off of the light readings at the end of day 1 and that is what determines the definition of bad light. It is almost certain to cost Australia 30+ runs. If that determines the test I will be pissed.

Not as pissed as Sri Lanka serving up a test pitch not deserving of grade cricket being played on it purely in the effort to support playing 3 front line spinners in their 11 plus a part timer.

I am sick of pretty much every country in the world now doctoring their pitches to suit their team. It's just blatant corruption. The aim for all groundskeepers should be to produce the best pitch possible for balance between bat and ball for a game lasting 5 days. It is manipulating results and it really seems that only a few countries (Australia is one of them) are not doing it.

This pitch is fine, of course it turns, we're playing in Sri Lanka. It's like saying we should make sure our wickets turn when India tour here.

Test cricket is meant to be hard, and part of that is you need to be able to play on green tops in England, turners in the sub continent, and bouncy wickets in Australia.

Mate the pitch was breaking up and producing inconsistent bounce in the first few overs of the first days play. That's not good enough for a test pitch.

We absolutely ensure our pitches are ideally suited to Starc, Hazlewood and Cummins in terms of bounce

Perhaps not to the same degree, but we still do it
