Hopefully this is the wake up call the team needs - need some fresh blood.I’d rather we just bow out I think.
DroppedSo is Starc injured?
Nah his hamstring was cooked. 100% legitimate unfortunately I reckonSo Finch: genuinely injured or saving face?
Damien Martin was the same. Looked awesome when he made runs. So classy, but would get out at the worse times.
Mark Waugh was also one of the best catchers of all time and was handy with the ball.
Was a fantastic one day player. Would have to be close to best 11
NicePlayed with & against Damian Martyn. Probably the most talented cricketer I've seen to pick up a bat. A serious talent that was castigated unfairly for a rash shot in a test match.
Proving me right againMatt Kelly already our best all-rounder
After watching five overs against NZ in Sydney the smell of a WC capitulation was in the air. Just no will to win or desperation.Hopefully this is the wake up call the team needs - need some fresh blood.
.
Of course my best mate Finch will probably use his absence as an excuse to play on for 10 more years
Imo, I've thought for a while that after men's tests (and women's tests but they don't really exist sadly), women's T20s is the next best form of cricket. It's got the excitement of men's T20s but you actually have to hit a ball well for it to go for 6, not just have a big bat and swing hard.Give me the WBBL over anything else at the moment.
yep. Like old school cricket.Imo, I've thought for a while that after men's tests (and women's tests but they don't really exist sadly), women's T20s is the next best form of cricket. The Scorchers and Aussies being very good hasn't hurt either.
