Just drafted David Hale as a rover. Not sure how that might affect the game overall but he'd be the tallest rover in history.

Yes unfortunately there are a few inconsistencies with player positions. We are currently working on ways to make this more accurate. The modern day player who can play in different positions only makes this harder e.g. David Hale who can be a ruckman or a forward. Any suggestions?

I think people will generally be willing to give you some leeway as long as the player in question is not completely out of position. You've adopted a reasonably specific position structure and I think in your system people would accept Hale as a ruckman or any of the half-forward positions/full forward (I don't think forward pocket works for him). But to get a ruck player as a rover asks a little much in terms of suspending disbelief.

I'm going to keep him there as long as it's allowed because it improves my team, but I guess for you guys it's just a case of addressing individuals as inconsistencies are raised.

In my case, if you determine Hale can't be a rover and I have to find a new rover...no big deal, I'll find another rover. I'm not sure how your coding will affect players already in teams that are out of position. It was just one instance I noticed and I guess others will give their feedback if they find similar bugs.

Exactly, but we would like to be as accurate as possible. We'll work on this over the next few weeks and when this happens we will aim to have the replacement player around the same rating so your team is not affected too much. Otherwise we'll give you a few replacement options to select yourself.

I cant seem to trade players in and out using the free agent system. i could when the game started, its only happened in last day or two. when i hit 'sign' on the new player i want to trade in it just loads to an empty free agent pop up instead of your trade has been completed and you can now publish this, trade box.

I cant seem to trade players in and out using the free agent system. i could when the game started, its only happened in last day or two. when i hit 'sign' on the new player i want to trade in it just loads to an empty free agent pop up instead of your trade has been completed and you can now publish this, trade box.

Im trying to trade in Andrew browne and trading out nick heyne, originally i thought my computer was just messing up the javascript but i tried it on friends computer and it did the same thing.

i just tried to trade in Darren glass and that worked fine. seems to be in issue with either heyne or browne i think

It's not that bad. Would love it if there was a program of it where I could play all the time, sorta like Footy Fanatic. Great ideas with the game. Like others have said, I've had the drawn 0 - 0 game because of the javascript. Eek.

This bug should be fixed now. What was going wrong was the game was showing all the Free Agents associated to your team. However, some of those Free Agents were no longer available to your team. So when you went to trade them, the game wouldn't allow the trade to occur.

This has been fixed now. The game should be correctly showing your Free Agents. You may have noticed that some Free Agents are now no longer appearing on your list. These Free Agents are no longer available for your team to trade as the nature of a 'Free Agent'.

You team will receive 200 reputations points for bringing this bug to light.

The 0 - 0 bug should be fixed now. Let us know if you still see it occuring.

Found a weird error. I beat the Essendom Team of 1984 and was supposed to unlock Kevin Sheedy 1984 Head Coach but for some reason it gave me Malcolm Blight which gives player bonuses LFP-Leadership +74. I'm guessing I wasn't supposed to unlock this until I beat Adelaide of either 1997 or 1998?

Just noticed a small thing: When versing someone and you go down to the goals/behinds bit, my team name is cut off like Forest Hill F...whereas I just versed team whose name overlapped onto my team name. Not a big issue but looks a bit funny.

Jusfound an other weird error which has actually happened before. I just played a game and the score was 38 to 36 and I won but the game said that it was a tough loss and I only got about $700 or so and only 6 reputation points. Weird. lol

Love the game im hooked already! but started over about 5 times now! and i only have 2 players to pick from as my gun recruit? stokes and rich. i started over today and could only pick stokes then when my team loaded i ended up with rich?? what happened?

You are spot on! We are still working on the scoring display. In that particular case, you did lose the game, but the score board didn't display the final score correctly. We will update you when this bug is fixed.

Currently the game's functionality only allows a player to get certain star recruits to choose from. This will soon be updated with the new functionality that will allow you to use your reputation points to get a new batch of star recruits. Will let you know when this new feature is live.

Not sure why you ended up with rich, we had a look at the system and couldn't see any bugs relating to that matter. But will keep an eye on it.

Haha, we took the game offline for 40 minutes while we uploaded a new feature; The Trading Block. If you have unlocked it on the Rosters page, let us know what you think about it.

using my missus FB account since i don't have one and never have really wanted one except now to play this game


anyways i ran out of games and used the energy to refill my games then i decided to use the other one so i could up my games from 16 to 18

big mistake should of done it the other way round since i refilled my games first and extended my games 2nd i now have 0/18 games left and no rep points left to refill again

I was wondering if you guys had considered placing computer controlled teams on some of the levels? I have noticed (as I'm certain others have) that as I get to higher levels there are very few teams to actually play in order to progress in level.
I'm currently on Veteran 5 and there is only 2 teams on the level below me and none on my level or the level above me.

I understand that it should become more difficult as you progress but knowing that there are still 20 levels left and no teams occupying them makes me wonder how anybody will ever get there.

On a side note - loving the game. Absolutely addicted.
