Not a huge name, but former Maribyrnong mayor (three times) and city councilor Sarah Carter. Tipped as a rising star within the Australian Labour Party in Victoria and to enter either State or Federal Politics, Sarah Carter died yesterday at the age of just 45. No cause of death was listed as yet.
