9 months ago he talked about nearly being a southerner and finishing his career here and look how quickly the tune changed. You talk about tail wagging the dog, well don't give it a chance. Give this no oxygen and take a hard stance on it. Bitching to the press does not get you sold.

So what's changed in 9 months?

1) his mate has gone (the manager was ok with it) and earns more than him
2) people responsible for bringing in players (Hitchen, Poch and Levy) haven't brought anyone yet.

If #2 is driving this Poch won't let him back in. If it's more #1 Poch has a chance to repair it. But what makes me think it's a done deal is the following

- bringing up the fans treatment of him
- talking about himself as being not useless before Poch arrived

Does this guy forget how bang average he was and only want to remember how good he was just before this injury?

You're too emotional over it. Need to calm down and think logically.
We gain nothing selling him, we gain a lot more keeping him.

It instills respect and fear in the dressing room. A clear sign that we rule the roost not you. Bench him for a period upon return to further instill discipline into the group.

Shaw won't be sold, so we need to get those ideas out of our heads, if he'd said this a month ago it'd have given a chance to go in for Mendy but not now.

His agent is his uncle and it's also Walker's agent. I'm inclined to believe point 1.

Gotta love Poch!

18 months ago he wouldn't have stood for what Rose did but that just shows you that Poch is learning and improving with not completely writing players off. It was a strength and weakness at the same time previously. Now he picks his moments better similar to SAF in some ways where he'd write some off for X but then for others would have a different apporach and we all saw how well that worked at Utd!

Pastore who knows, we wanted him years ago when he was still at Palermo. I reckon Roma will get someone like him if he's shipped out.

dont know how poch fixes it tbh, is it the system that needs changing or the players? if its just the players sissoko and dele are the two who've looked worst out there so maybe Son or Janssen for them.

Good debut by KWP I thought. Did his job defensively rather well.

Good 3 points. The Son-Sissoko sub was the beggining of life being brought into the game. That was sissoko's chance i think and his papers are stamped now. Just doesnt suit our style whatsoever. Son didnt do a whole lot but his movement and link up play makes the other attackers so much better. Lamela is the same and hopefully GKN with game time can go down that path too
