Plugger's elbow to Craven's face was a beauty. Got a couple of months for it back then. Today might have got twice as much.

He even braced his elbow for effect. Poor caven too - the guy's head did was his name says.
Is there a line of demarcation between elbows and genuine hits? There's been some guy elbows over the years.

Best thing about that hit on Monty was that he got back up and kicked 4 goals to send the Doggies into the semi!

Holland's hit was one of the dirtiest in the game, at no point did he have eyes for the ball he had Montgomery lined up the whole time.

Went to school with Tommy so obviously kept an eye on him throughout his career. In all of Kempies footy, and that includes Railways in Kalgoorlie when he was a skinny kid against grown men and Subi in Perth, Roo was the only bloke to get him.
Tommy had a great awareness about him.
That hit was a ripper.

I'm pretty sure that was Wally Lewis was sitting with Dipper right behind that. I'm sure that would have silenced any footy not as tough as league comparisons.
