I would take this deal in a heartbeat. Love Matty, but at this stage, we know what we're going to get. With Boyd - upside is tremendous.

I didn't agree with the way that Itchy went about questioning Barass, but he has a right to be skeptical if he wants. MBank is still not AT the Blues, but this is the next step in the direction of that happening.
I don't agree with calling him out on it, even if he was slightly aggressive in his manner.

I'm not saying that Curnow thing was us getting involved and I take TC16's rumour with a grain of salt, but I would hope that this doesn't become our MO when it comes to drafting. Would hate to do all this work to build the club back up and get done for draft tampering down the track.

Yep - as it should be.

GWS get a player in the top 5, before anyone bids on any of their academy players. Maybe lands them Marshall who they wanted as an Academy pick.
Pick 15 would only be used on one of their academy players, and realistically, if they're going to be bid on in the second half of the first round, 15 and 17 gets them the same result as 17 and 23.

GWS get Pick 5 plus their two academy kids rather than potentially two academy kids plus Pick 17, and lose Marchbank in the process.

No news on Tomlinson? Seems to be mixed messages on him...i guess even he himself hasnt made up his mind given he's still playing in finals and things could change.

Couldn't see him leaving if GWS now say to him there is a spot for him in their backline, especially if they make the Grand Final.
