I'm hearing that Hopper will leave GWS. He apparently likes it there however his parents are in his ear about coming to Victoria. As weird as this may sound, his parents aren't impressed with some of the pranks his housemates are playing.

No to dispute your source but I'd hope switching clubs was based on a decision more than being bullied by one's domineering parents - particularly ones who'd ship him off to boarding school.

Would it be completely ridiculous to approach Priddis. Word is he may not have retired of his own volition. No one could question how hard he works to get the best out of himself and could potentially offer something in the middle while our green shoots are growing.

Id read it as Cas is another clubs plan b. If they cant secure their first option they will give cas the 4 years. Carlton are Cas's backup if no one bites. As good as gone...Id prefer him around for 3 years..but, theres the horizon.

I don't care what the rumour mill says, there's no way anyone is offerring Casboult more than 3 years.

I can't say I got the impression that he was "definitely gone", as you put it. I guess you could argue Levi merely had a tone of frustration over Carlton's offer to him and the doorstop was an attempt to put pressure on CFC?

Some would consider 19 just a kid. Most 19 year olds would still live with their parents.

Some families are closer than others...some kids might say they don't care what their parents think while to others their opinion means alot.

Also depends on the nature of these pranks which we don't know.

Strongly disagree with this statement. Pokies are the lesser of two evils when the alternative is a company that has consistently cashed in even when human tradgedy is involved.

They consistently leave the consumer with their arse hanging out bare - and to continue the metaphor - the driver cruising around with no clothes on. There are people being set up by Uber to in effect be indentured slaves so they can afford a car, and that's not withstanding the predatory lending involved, the softened legal controls, and more.

That's without even touching on how little they do to combat the inherent inequality between the sexes at all levels, especially within their management practices.

We are a football club, i couldn't care less about our social responsibility. People also have there own choices

Yeah it wouldn't surprise me if some young players still follow a lot of there parents advice.

Heck, even North Melbourne are talking to Dusty's Dad all the way in NZ. At 19 it is a massive decision to make and if his parents think people around him are being irresponsible and affecting Jacob in a negative way why wouldn't they encourage a move?

Totally agree. I'm pretty pissed off about this signing actually - I mean I get why people use them, and it's no doubt a shot in the arm for the club but it is 'dirty money' IMHO. I deliberately steer clear of Uber as they are shafting a regulated industry big time. CFC certainly live 'close to the edge' with sponsorship.
