He was Jarrod Waiteee or something like that (still shows up in a quote at the top of the page).

I used to be Twomey2Betts :$ Worst player bandwagon ever. So I just went the easy route and converted to T2B.

That's because the comment system caches the name of the poster in the comment rather than looking up the member name each time.

See what I did there? :)

We haven't had a great run with players falling into bad habits and others that had mental health issues.

You can do something about the former but harder to deal with the latter....which hadn't been particularly good at.
The bad habits and attitudes are certainly a sign of a substandard culture and a dearth of leaders, both of which the great Brisbane, Geelong, Sydney and Hawthorn teams of the past 20yrs have had in spades.

Hawthorn might be slightly debatable there... though I guess the point stands in terms of on-field.

Pretty much. You can't see a lack of leadership but its influence (or lack of) can be and usually is, profound.

That's one of the reasons we must take Weitering. We can't help what we have, or haven't got at the top end for now, but Weitering, Cripps, Docherty, Graham etc have to be ready to take the mantle in the not too distant future.

And there I was thinking you were a fan of Graeme Robertson.
Tallish type for the era. Number 37? Shane Robertson? Number 38.

My Robbo arrived around 65/66 (?). I would have been about 9 at the time. I think it was effortless and monstrous kicking that caught my eye. All through my junior teams I wore number 34. Always had to get my mum to sew or iron the number on as 34 was never an off the rack number. I always admired him from afar. I had a chance to meet him once, in the bar under the Gardiner Stand. I was too shy to take up the offer.

I remember Robbo, a mean drop kick
