It may be harsh but the players delisted today are not finals teams quality players. About time we are really turning the list over. I think Armfield should have been delisted as well. I think his community work got him an extra year. Even on our shit list Holman wouldn't even be in our top 30 players.

Don't underestimate the evolution of the game. Big bodies are the rage now, as is being able to run all day, so club maybe see Kerridge as a big bodied mid who can run all day and his big body enables him to match up on other big bodies mids. The more big bodied mids who can run and can play the better. Stack the midfield with them I say. So if he tags then so be it. The game is evolving rapidly and will evolve more now with less rotations. Don't think in the past.

Doubt anyone who uses words like lol can be educated, but thanks anyway. Holman has achieved far more and his body has held up better in two years than Sumner has in four.

Let's hope when they describe Kerridge as a run with player he's at the more attacking end of the spectrum.

Trading Menzel for a young Ryan Crowley would be disappointing.

Maybe the type of person they are is no longer more important that the type of player they are.

I'm surprised by Holman and Walsh but in reality all the players that have been delisted have limited upside. I guess it's a numbers game, i.e. get as many highly talented players into the team with huge upside and at least some of them will realize their potential and become stars.

There is no doubt that Carlton have retained list cloggers for far too long in the past.

Agreed Walsh didn't appear to have much upside.

Kerridge as a tagger just doesn't make any sense. Curnow and Whiley must be set to play out their contracts in the VFL or are we going back to playing 3 taggers? ...and if you're delisting taggers you delist the 26yo who can't kick, not the 20yo that has shown some ability.

The 4 for 1 deal was always going to push someone out. Some thought Armfield, some thought White.......but it happened to be Holman.

We could get angry now or wait and see how the final wash comes out..................although it's hard not to be just a little peeved about Holman, right now.
