Discussions on why E Hollands has been delisted are not allowed. No club wants to lose a good footballer.
It’s not unreasonable to think the club has its reasons for letting him go — and that it might not be in anyone’s best interest, including EJ’s, for all the details to be aired publicly.
Those two things can be true at the same time.
let's say, ala Sarah Palin, i can see IKON Park from my houseAt Chaddy?

Contrary to reports there were further issues that contributed to the decision which Elijah is aware and we will continue to support him through. There’s a classy way of doing it. Just throwing out a bunch of shit into the media is not the way to do it. Would be an awful look
well lets wait for the announcement then before we judge the club?Contrary to reports there were further issues that contributed to the decision which Elijah is aware and we will continue to support him through.
With respect to Elijah, that is all we’ll publicly say on the subject but we will welcome Elijah back to the club as an ex-Carlton player
No mud-slinging, just some clarification to some bewildered supporters.
if no chance he's kept on the list, why's he still on the list?Confirmed today that there is zero percent chance that Elijah Hollands stays.
It’s actually in response to a media article from the player and also the player manager’s public updates.well lets wait for the announcement then before we judge the club?
pretty sure Carlton arent relying on x posting in BF as the means to disseminate club information to supporters
Drop a note, why don't ya.which Mod will take on the role of dragon for Beowulf posting in the no discussion thread![]()
What’s barren and full of cobwebs?Aints fans going blue in the face trying to convince whoever can be bothered engaging with them, that Jack and all the ither B graders they lured across on ridiculous and unwarranted contracts didn’t come to them ‘for the cash’, but because ‘they believe in the project’

Because the saints were the only team with any semblance of interest in him. Elijah is 10x the player Stocker is, so the fact that a team hasn’t even offered a completely useless pick shows his issues are well knownAnother club will pick up Hollands 100%. And they will get a bargain.
Bit like Stocker. Why would any club trade for him when they know we are going to delist him in a couple of weeks time.
Plenty of downside too, going by Carlton and Gold Coast's experience.Disappointed we couldn't keep Elijah, has just what we need and showed plenty in the games he played. In saying that, talent will only get you so far. He obviously isn't the right fit for the club and I love what we're doing to try fixing our culture issues.
I doubt it will but I hope it doesn't effect Ollie negatively.
Whoever gets Lij will get him for nothing and there's obviously plenty of upside.

One team?...or they are waiting for the PSD
Straight up DFA or the added bonus of an SSP train-on to assess the merits of adding him onto their list....or they are waiting for the PSD
Yeah - Nah.
It’s about runs scored & needed to produce a winning season/make play offs.
Getting on base enables runs to be scored.
“Money ball” is now common vernacular for a player who’s “value” is significantly lower than there actual production/output.
It’s buying a valuable asset cheaply as others don’t value it based on “feelings/emotion/bias” instead of the decision being based on straight data/fact - it’s why the term is used in other sports even thou it was coined & most applicable to the structure of baseball
Can you smell what Bernie is cooking?i was cooking dinner

I honestly think if Elijah is delisted, it will be the worse thing for him.
He won't have the professional support around him to get his life back on track.
I'm hoping this is the wake up call he needs to pull his head in. Not only got CFC, but for own benefit.
