Bock or Stevens, forward or back

As a melbourne supporter I was just wondering whether Bock is going to play forward and Stevens back or vice versa. Id pick one of them to play at CHB for the rest of the year and play the other forward until you get McGregor and Perrie playin well, it doesn't really matter for this game though as Miller is playing sh@#house but could be key to your finals.
What do you guys think

Stevens had a shocker early in the season playing up forward. It was just one game but I'd rather see him in defence with Bock at CHF.

Yeah, he was atrocious that day. Worst performance by a Crows forward since Jericho.

Will definately be the starting setup but having the flexibility to interchange of Bock to CHB and Biglands up forward....so really we have some flexibility and options.

Same for me. Stevens has been a dud for us when played as a forward, but pretty solid down back.

Bocky will compete better than Stevens would up forward, so it's a no-brainer for me.

Rutton up forward did nothing against the Dogs, don't think he even touched the ball once.

Stevens has been found wanting several times when played forward. Scratch that, EVERY time he's been played in the forward lines. However, he has been pretty decent in defence for most of this year.

Bock on the other hand may not be an ideal forward, but he's certainly reasonable.

As for sending Rutten forward... no thanks. Not quick enough.

Bock should not play forward. He is only good on the lead up towards the wing. He'll never take a contested grab, he won't provide a reasonable contest once the ball goes to ground and his kicking for goal is very average. He should stay in the back lines. Stevens could play as a floating forward.

I thought Bock was very effective last week in shutting down opponents. But you need a key forward so maybe he has to go there.

Thats not quite true. I remember him playing some very good games for us in his first year here (2003) as that mobile, tall HFF. His main problem has been that he has shown to be wildly inconsistent as a forward. I don't have the access to stat site at the moment but I am sure he played some really good games for us in 2003 as a HFF.

He is possibly one player that can play that mobile tall roaming forward role that Hentschel and Burton have played this year. His problem is his inconsistency as a forward and very inaccurate goal kicking.
