Has been really disappointing this year. Hasnt shown any signs of what most thought he would do. Should still get a top 18 pick for him

Aish has massive potential especially when he was traded (this season he has been disappointing).

Its obvious you're not going to see it, but this sort of trade happens every few years, a promising young player thats still unproven goes for a late first round.
If Crouch does go this year, which i think he will, you won't be getting a top 10 pick. Crows are typically quite reasonable as well so a late first rounder is about were he is at.
They eem to have forgotten the way they held Melbourne over a barrel with Thompson.

More than evened out by the way we've been held over a barrel with Gunston, Tippett and Dangerfield.

But we're typically very generous traders, unlike your mob, which probably explains why we're always raided for talent.

I think Crouch is worth more than some mediocre late first round pick, but I doubt we will bother to push our case for more because we're weak traders.

That said, if he finishes the year strongly, he will be worth much more, although I don't think he will leave if he hits form.

Crouch is worth around pick 10, at his best he is bloody awesome, having a off year currently but he has shown he can play seriously good football.
Anyone who wants him for a late 1st rounder is because they want a bargain for their own team, by ripping off the Crows.

Crows need to harden the f**k up with their trading and don't allow other teams to walk all over them.

I agree, not for the reasons you probably think, but because Essendon isn't stupid enough to offer a young unproven player a million $$ a season, no matter how high they were taken in the draft.
..who is offering him a million a year? Unless that was just an awesome Tom Boyd joke.

I think O'Meara is the better player from what I saw from him. Being injured hasn't changed that for me. I think he showed more in his first season than crouch has to date. Just my opinion. Don't shoot me
In their first season Brad averaged more posessions than O'mera and got double the Brownlow votes.
There was sweet FA between them in their first year.

Jaeger won the Rising Star and best first year player though.

Adelaide's player retention issues don't indicate that they have a great culture.
Bock - Cash
Davis - Cash (even he said so)
Tippett - Cash/Dog act.
Gunston - technically we dislodged him, then screwed it up. He was young and wanted home.
Dangerfield - Cryb...i mean Cash....nah. Crybaby works. I hope the crows win a flag this year

i imagine the culture at Adelaide is pretty decent.

Every single star player could come up with reasons such as those to leave their club, but if they really buy into the club/culture they'll usually stay.

Maybe it is just bad luck that Adelaide has lost so many gun players. I think it's more likely that the club itself has something to do with it. Not saying their culture is bad (I certainly wouldn't know). There's just no evidence that their culture is great, and there are indications that it's not great.

You been to Adelaide? Nothing for the star players to spend their cash on
