So instead of taking Eagles 22.. Brisbane have taken everyone on a hell of a ride for 2 days and involved a 3rd club for a 2 pick upgrade?

I'm not sure why it couldn't get done for 22 on Day 1.

Eagles seem to invite this sort of thing on themselves and trades became far too complex when they should be really straight forward.

"Win-Win" for all but a feeling of loss again for mine. Eagles need to grow a spine soon or the rebuild will flop.

The trade itself is fine, the disappointment is that it causes the eagles to lose a chance at pick 7 in favour of 12 + 33. I’m confident Brisbane would have accepted 22 if push came to shove.
