Brauny's New Ad

Has anyone seen Brauny's new ad for the airconditioning/insulation? What a shocker!

Why do the guys have to do such bad ads ..... I know theres probably a lot of money in them but really!

PS. I still love him like he was my own son though

I'm sure it's put on. Noone could act that bad. I think it is the advertising equivalent of the B-Grade horror movie genre. Besides, when players try looking too flashy, everyone tells them they are losing focus on their footy. Look at our own Ben Cousins (champion player that he is), he's far too smug and flashy in public. Someone should tell him to stop worrying about his hair do, and start working on getting some contested possesions. His Brownlow form was way way way over rated. No way did he play that well. The umpires notice him because they see him everytime they open their foxtel magazine (which is great for his career, but how does it help the team when we need him in a big match and he goes missing).

What's a soapbox? I just hate it when players worry more about how they look than how they play the game. And Cousins, as great as he is, underachieves for this reason.

i agree with your inane rambling. cousin is a hack and doesn't deserve a spot on our list. it is obvious that he is employed only as a publicity machine.

I don't agree noodle. Cousins is a very worthy captain, he's just not the utterly unstoppably brilliant player most fellow eagles fans have been brainwashed by channel 7 to believe.

I'm beginning to seriously suspect that eaglefan is a bigfooty freo suppoorter's alter ego. Started off with a transparent 'make fun of the stupid eagle supporter' troll, and since then has been pulling out all the classic docker lines, about west coast being a heartless corporate club, cousins is a pretty boy, the dockers are a far better club, we've recruited noone goodbut judd over the last few years... etc etc etc.
IT sounds very FreoHitmanish..

So now I'm a Freo supporter because I'm willing to criticise my own club in areas where I perceive Fremantle to be stronger. I'm brand new to this forum, I made two joke threads utterly bagging the Dockers, not yet understanding forum etiquette. I got roundly flamed for this, felt like an idiot, admitted it openly, apologised. Since then, all my posts have reflected my true views. I won't blindly accept everything the Eagles do, and I'm worried that we will be overtaken by the Dockers because were so content to live on past glories. I get more respect from the Freo fans I bagged than my own fellow Eagle fans.

If that's what you want to think, then fine. But don't be too surprised if we fall by the wayside while the Dockers trump us.

GoEagles he's moved on from still shots and to film but the only problem is hes just slumped in a chair supposedly sweating and I assume meant to be looking hot, he can only go up from here ..... but I still love him like a son. Go Brauny!

I think if you read back through threads from the last 2 years or so you will find we too dont blindly follow everything the club does, but we do trust they are dong what they think is best. Financially this is working well, and we are starting to see the results on the field too. Some supporters may be content on past glories, with the common feel being "we are better than freo cause we have won 2 premierships before they even existed" but i assure you the club does not feel that. At this very point in time we are equal, same as each and every one of the other AFL sides. This is how the club sees it, year in year out. We are all on 0 wins, so we are all equal.

So i hope that you continue to post your thoughts, just dont expect us to always think what u think is wrong with the club, is what we think is wrong. Most of us get flamed for some of our opinions, but thats what makes it great, we all view it differently (you very much so)

I haven't seen the add either not that I'm likely to be on the lookout for it. As for the Just Spectacles ad's, they would have to be some of the worst on TV and smack of the egotistical prick who owns the business not to mention the sexist slant on most of them.
