He will come good in a couple of years , cant expect an A grade defender for a kid that age, hes doing a decent job for us thus far.

Makes silly mistakes decision wise , but I'm sure he will get that out of his game and play percentages

Agree on Maynard though, Friday showed the cons far outweigh the pros at this stage of his career.

There is a lot to get excited about with Maynard, he's shown enough and will build on it. IMHO

The coaches have put a lot of faith in this kid as some of his turnovers have been real momentum killers ,but that is what is going to happen when you are trying to develop youth . All credit to the match committee for standing firm and sticking to the course. It would have been easy to drop this kid and others we have and bring back the likes of the Sack or Tooves but we are developing a strong and long list by giving these guys exposure.

What I like about Maynard is his ability to win some really tough one on ones against much older and way more experienced opponents, his commitment to the team and ferocity at the ball - fearless and never intimidated. Great strength and body shape and still only 19 years old.

I've come to accept Braynard's mistakes and appreciate the good things that he does.

He's an improvement on Williams in every area and he's a tough bastard.

The decision making will come and he'll just keep getting better, huge bargain at pick #30.

Bucks would have loved that passage of play. Backing himself to give up the space and charge in to mark. Could have backfired spectacularly.

Said it in the autopsy thread but his kicking has been excellent the last couple of games. Each game he improves. Ever since the kick in incident, he's come out a better player. Loved the goal as well.
