Wow, didnt know. Not that I mentioned any injuries in the first place. But dont tell PJ Power that:rolleyes: He would be hard pressed to make the team if he was fit anyway.

Don't worry BL... I didn't think you were trolling, but rather paying respects. I was stating the injuries separately just to make peeps aware. :thumbsu:

Havent read anything on it. Is he playing with the Magpies next year?
He didn't fully make that clear... he seemed a bit coy about his playing future. He stated he isn't really a football person and is looking forward to hanging around with some mates. He was asked the "magpies" question and his response was that he is going to play again in the future, but didn't state who with. Mentioned he's still sorting some things out there. He did say it was at "a lot lower level than this", that he can take until Jan off, get a bit fatter and then start training it off in Jan. He seemed to have a rise smile about it with Ken. Maybe something with some school friends: amateurs, country etc.

I know I'm supposed to troll him, but I didn't mind him as a player, just couldn't fathom why he was the main forward and not given time to run through the middle.

I thought the same for years too... until I came across some Champion Data statistics that highlighted he is one of the AFL's best forward competitors. Up there with Travis Cloke and a couple of others. By this they measured which forwards were the best at not only winning contests in the F50, but they also prevent their direct defender from winning the contest (and hence rebound possession). IMO this is the prime reason both Choco and Primus used him as the main attacking option whilst Tredders was injured/gone.

Then as Trewth highlighted, he didn't have a large tank... which is funny b/c at the time endurance was a big thing and rotations were around 60 a game. Now, with 130-140 rotations a game, your tank can be smaller as you play in bursts and he could easily slot into a midfield rotation.

But that is the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

What will Port Adelaide do with all of the extra space at their training facilities now that Brett Ebert and his gigantic head have retired?[/quote
Port will give his huge head it's own post code and play it's home games on his head ..

Here he is in his new occupation, without the mask on...

Seriously... His fuking eyebrows.

Was your typical Port Adelaide player. Tried hard but just wan't very good. All the best to him in his new career as a bobble head at the local toyworld.
At his best he was a better small forward than anyone in camry history

Poor form to bag him today button

Cheap shot

Egged out a good AFL career, no champion, but he had a lot to live up to, well played Bretty.
