And he isn't a better midfielder than Barlow

Toy has officially stated he wants to go back to Melbourne, so you may be on to something!
A few years ago I would have done the Pears deal in a heartbeat...can't say the same thing anymore.

I am 95% confident we wont get #13, unless we included #17. But because I love draft talk...

If we somehow ended up with both picks, then I imagine we would take one KPP - so, Kristian Jaksch or Mason Shaw. And then a midfielder, whether it's outside speed (Simpson, Garlett), inside ability (Hrovat, Vlastuin), a combination of both (Kennedy) or that something special (Stringer, Garner).

If we end up with 2 first round picks in a strong draft AND Dan Pearce I am off the opinion that the Bondmeister will have done very well. Broughton is a good player but he is the only one that is tradeable that has any real currency.

Think about it. Yes, broughts is a gun but he is 26. We Have seen broughts peak. He ain't gonna improve a whole lot more.
We are well covered for mids right now with potentially more gun mids to come (sheridan, schloithe, sutcliffe, mora etc.)
Our defense is set. I reckon spurr was locked away a few wks ago as rtb saw him as the defender Greg was in the past.
There is no better guy in our team to trade IMO.
His value should be high as he is a gun
He is contracted so we call the shots
And he is from WA so we won't get 'Tarranted' by him.

Ibbo is a gun and has currency - his intercept marking during the season was sublime, and he's an elite runner who uses his speed in the backline well. I hope we hold onto him because it would be a real loss to our club if Ibbo moves to another club in a trade. Definitely worth a first round pick.

Brought on was a late rookie pick 4 years ago. To get an upgrade to a first or even a second round pick is a very good result for the club. Upgrade of both our 1st and 2nd round picks would be phenomenal. Strengthens our position on getting stringer as first 12 are looking to rebuild a midfield and GWS have their KPF sorted.

Win win , brought will get a 4 year contract and play every game do more $$ and we just upgraded Spurr who is another back that can fill broughtons role.

Is there any KPF in GC that are worth a look?

Broughton will be a Toy replacement for Gold Coast. A lot of water to go under the bridge IMO, they will probably ontrade what they get for him.
