Perhaps we have a player that we want to draft at pick 37, that wouldnt have made it to our second round pick.
If we draft a KPF at pick 37 I think we may break even. Maybe we a clearing salary cap space to sign a free agent next year.
In Bond we trust.
You said we got a 3rd round upgrade when we got an upgrade from the 3rd round to the 2nd round.
I can hear it now...come 2014 all the Eagles fans will be saying "...never mind the fact you lost out on McLeod or Lloyd do you remember in 2012 when you traded Broughton and pick 60 for pick 37? Haw Haw you got diddled there! "
We can't be held responsible for the Eagles and Demons stupidity.Greg Walsh at Collingwood said on trade radio that once you past pick 20 this year it becomes a very thin draft. This is why Collingwood now have 3 first round picks and we still have 1.
Bondy will be saying "But we picked him up in 2009 at pick 79 and we traded him for pick 37, that's a winning trade."
This is a sentiment I definitely agree with.Has bond ever had a good trade period?
Settle petal. I didnt see that post and I quoted a post that said we got a 3rd round upgrade. Lets move on.
I thought Richmond had gotten the deal of the trade period but think Suns just did.
To be honest I have never really cared what eagles supporters think.
There are probably a number of reasons why Greg is gone but maybe he wanted to leave and with GCS holding pick two in the pre season draft we just had to take what we could get.
