Drove me nuts last night - iPhone Chrome.

On my laptop atm & all good using Chrome.

Haven't checked my phone.

I had this on the weekend when browsing FigBooty while attending the Hawks v Crows game. Still happening today, even after clearing cache and installing Avast (which I know wouldn't stop the redirect happening anyway).

Turned this setting on, and cleared browsing data. So far so good

On the avast thing, it's garbage, better paying for an antivirus and being safe

Current advice is to use a different browser like Firefox until this is sorted out by Google. Clear your Chrome cookies as well.

Same happened on Safari on my phone.

Only suggestion I have is using something that blocks those types of popups then, it's the only fix until chief and that figures it out

Have you tried killing your browser cache?

Right now we are running NO Google ads at all.

Changed browser to ABP (android) this afternoon and no more issues (or ads of any kind to be honest)

Note tha I am swapping ad tags in and out today. It may stop and start due to what I'm doing, or what the user does at their end.

Noted, I did see just above no Google ads currently, which I can only guess bites the bottom line.

ABP is a reduced browsing experience on many other levels like saved tabs and a whole bunch of nice to have stuff though, so not sure it is forever.

I'm now cruising around in Chrome and no issues.

It may come back. We will keep working on it.

Its not so much the ad revenue, it's more that it stops users from using the site.

I've got the problem on the default Samsung Internet browser as well. Closed it, cleared my cache, reopened the browser and logged onto Bigfooty and it happened again immediately.

No issues when I use Chrome on my desktop PC though.
