Since he probably isn't leaving Adelaide, you'd figure he's a SANFL player from here on, whether in the Crows reserves or back to Glenelg.

Salary aside, it's looking like quite an even trade at this point.
Gibbs moved back to adelaide to be with family as he has very young children..can't see him leaving South AustraliaWould be keen for a trade along the lines of
Dogs Give pick 25 and 40
Crows give pick 20 and 29 aswell as Gibbs + his massive salary
If you say so. I sure know I’m happy with which side of that equation my club is on.
With all due respect, the fact the Blues had him in the first place is nothing to be happy about.
What issues does Gibbs have?Couldn't imagine anything worse for someone with the issues Gibbs has. Needs a secure, healthy environment
I would consider him up on the GC for the next 2 years, we need midfield depth really bad, and he is a decent ball user. However, would want Adelaide to cover some of his wages.
He may want to fight it out at the Crows but he would easily be in the 22 for us.
Does it?Missing ed Richards hurts

Lol, doubt the AFL would allow the Crows to trade Gibbs for negative value. We got investigated for trading Tippett for a 2nd rounder, so we would be smashed for giving away picks & Gibbs.Would be keen for a trade along the lines of

Personal issues which have impacted on his form. What issues does Gibbs have?
The real question is why did Adelaide want him to begin with?
Anyone else remember clueless Carlton saying the Crows wouldv'e won the premiership if they coughed up earlier?

Think we will bank on him sorting through this, rather than giving him away.
Clubs should be able to do this. It works well enough in US sports. You should be able to do something like Port did with Lobbe, get a token really late pick in and get at least some of his salary off the books.Lol, doubt the AFL would allow the Crows to trade Gibbs for negative value.
