Yeah but it shouldn't be a suspnesion. Unless you want our season to unravel. An astute Hawthorn supporter pointed out on the MB, that the team, it's supporters and sponsors shouldn't suffer. Fine him, make him do community work and haul him before the leadership group.

I have to agree with this - we have courts of law and punishments meted out by them for a reason.

Duplication in the name of spin doctoring is totally unjustified and unacceptable - Franklin will pay fifty times the penalty that the ordinary punter would anyway through negative media exposure and the inevitable 'education' programs he will have to go through and then administer.

Stupid; but thankfully it seems to be "just" speeding - no hints of alcohol in any report. He should be given a minor club punishment (stern talking to?) based on his position in the community; but that should hopefully be the end of this, with a lesson learnt.
