Haven't noticed one on here and I wanted to gloat about St Pauli's brilliant first up win away from home 3-1.

Bayern still in struggle town this season, going down 2-1 at home to Mainz.

Huntelaar has failed at about his last five clubs.

I think at some point people are going to have to stop rating him highly.

How many times can one fail before people notice the trend?

And remembering - all he's ever done is scored goals in Holland.... I think most of the poster under 40 on this board could play a season in Holland up front and score at least double figures.

our league is crazy  Mainz 05 with their 6th win in the 6th game and that was against Bayern Munich. Hanover is 3rd behind Dortmund. The Championsleague participants somewhere on the 2nd half of table.

To be fair to him though AC, his 8 in 20 (in the league) for Madrid wasn't bad considering most of those appearances were off the bench.

But your point about the Dutch league stands.

Good call, the league does take the piss at times. The French league has its moments as well, but the football in Germany is much better to watch. Never thought I'd say that, coz when I was a kid, German football was quite boring. Bit inspirationless, lots of running and very little flair.

Fair to say the Bundesliga's clearly become the 2nd most entertaining league in Europe. If I lived in Europe, I'd probably follow it closer and go to a game or 2 every season.

Godzke will like this. Schalke's first point of the season, coming back from two down to draw with Gladbach, goals from... Huntelaar and Raúl.

St. Pauli lost :(

They were done by a far superior team, will happen at times this season. The win midweek was a good one though. The next match is away to Hannover96 so there will be trouble seeing as some of your more shavedheaded types support Hannover.

It might be because I don't have Fox yet since moving house and only have Channel One but I'm really enjoying this league. It seems less corporate and even than the farce over in England.

As a Bayern supporter, the season hasn't been good on a personal front.

But the winning streak of Mainz is why I love watching the Bundesliga. It is one unpredictable league with PLENTY of great goals.

Its been a great season so far.

Bayern's Oktoberfest nightmare continues, losing 2-0 at Dortmund, who are starting to look very convincing indeed.

They have my man Lewandowski, how could they not.

Good to see my boys Eintracht Frankfurt win at Stuggart, almost pushing the top half now - while Stuttgart are dead last.

Getting excited about Dortmund. Might be returning to the old glory :)

And it's so good to see St. Pauli back in the top flight. I hope they survive. It's just about the most popular club in Germany, as in being almost everyone's second team [apart from Hamburg fans obviously].

And any other skinhead sides. The trip to Bayern Munich will be interesting.

They're slowly becoming completely commercialised. The emo thing in Germany is to have St Pauli gear. Even celtic sell St Pauli gear at their superstore.
