Im just gonna come out and say it this kid is special! Kicked a lazy 6 and the next highest goal kicker kicking 1. He is exactly what we need, a big physical forward.

Am i right in saying though that he hasnt really set the world on fire up until this point, saying that it is early in the season and no doubt he is building towards the state carnival. I agree we do need another Key Forward, bate is struggling in playing a bigger role this year.

And by the way, like I said in another thread just now on this whole PP issue, we're gonna get far more benefit out of the club improving their overall fitness/training regime than thru a couple of new draft picks, no matter how good they turn out to be.

10 out of our best 22 missing atm. That's a much bigger issue. I honestly think we'd have given the finals a shake this year without such an insane injury list.

true every team needs a good fitness base. But our problems are a bit more deep then that. We are clearly missing a KPF so why not get excited about this potential star? That could be playing for us. It's only human to wonder.

Well we've already got two players in development who could be a solution to the problem. As long as they don't end up being wasted as a result of this revolving-door injury issue.

But I suspect the whole 'should we or shouldn't we' debate is academic at this point anyway, with the depleted squad we have now. Incredibly frustrating that is.

The thing is Im focussing on 1 quality player not 2 and Im not hoping we lose to pick up an extra player like yourself. Im a realist in seeing that we will finish last or 2nd last so we will get pick 1 or 2 and i think butcher is a good player that we could do with. so there ya go buddy

ok so you've said butcher is going to be half decent which i agree with and i've heard that scully might be quite good. just a rumour tho dont hold me to that.... so i'm asking would u like to have both players in the red and blue or just 1??? well considering your a melbourne fan, probably just one pick cause we dont want to potentially have a forward line in a few years that no one can compete with and become to greedy now do we. lets just share the top 2 choices with richmond because they're on the bottom with us. Nah **** it. Im convinced....screw the top 2 choices in a shallow draft with 2 new teams coming in. Call me....picks7and24 and i'll watch the club work on their winning culture with 6 wins this year

Ok I have another very simple question for you once again, lets see if your brain can comprehend what Im saying.. Who were you going for today? And if you were going for WC what is the point of following football? And going through those gates to sit there hoping that Miller misses a goal because it might put the chances of picking up another player... It doesn't really make sense, you follow the game to experience the feeling of your team winning not losing, but if you get a kick out of seeing your team fail by all means go for it.
