Who are all these two's players that are going to make us better? People on here are in la la land thinking Scott is holding back players in the two's that are better than the players in the ones.
Wood for Gibson
McDonald for Spud
Turner for Nahas ... sorry to say
Brown for Waite or anybody else

Agree. Not saying with changes the cattle will be enough to take us to a Grand Final, but not convinced that we use what we have well enough to know either way. My gut is that there is enough there that we need to utilise better. I certainly think there is plenty of talent there and plenty to work with. We had less to work with when Brad Scott took over IMHO.

Put it this way. Substitute Brad Scott for any of Clarkson/Simpson and dare I say it Buckley and do you think we'd be better off? I do.

we just lost to the bottom side. Eddie Sansbury would make us better!

It's getting hard to find excuses, isn't it?

Nice work kt - you managed to bash LT and promote Eddie in the same thread on the same day. :thumbsu:

Obviously I've never agreed with your overall view of LT, but I do agree that he deserves to be dropped for a few weeks.

It's about dropping players quickly if they don't work hard enough, like the Swans do, which is why they have high standards and a top culture. For example, O'Keefe dropped off and was dropped, regardless of his reputation. At North, we have continued to play favourites, irrespective of whether they give inconsistent effort. That is the main reason why we're in this predicament -never has been any consequences for those players, they never get dropped. Who is responsible for that? The Premier, the CEO of ANZ, the head coach of the NY Yankees or maybe Darren Lehmann?

His kids name is Fletcher I have my best 22 and I'm sticking with it Scott.

True story.

The annoying thing is that he said pre-season that they were still unsure as to the best 22 - I took that as a good sign, to make players fight for it.

But how soon it changed. Fun fact: Sam Gibson has never been dropped.

The only one I disagree with. Robbie's effort and to be honest (in this side) effectiveness most of the time earns his spot.

This ^^^

And you know why? Because he was dropped time and time again and he was made to play at a afl standard

Can't say that about most of the players on our list

Not really - the ones sooking are the ones that thought we could win this years flag. They now know they over rated our side and want Scott sacked for their error.

We brought in a 32 year old key forward and a 26 year old HFF.

Obviously the club thought we'd miss the eight....

Mate.

Come on.

Pls.

We were never premiership faves but by **** are we better than losing to the bottom team by 10 goals and then hopping on the same ride week after week for 6 ****ing years.

Ya know what? Folk will get back on board the Brad Scott Magical Mystery Tour bus if he can get us a shit load of wins in a row, but what you are witnessing on BF now is not a sooky-sooky-la-la reaction to a bad game, but a concerted shift in the mind-set of 'supporters' who no longer 'support' the methodology being employed at the club. Why? Because the methodology has rarely altered and neither have the results. If you repeatedly make mistakes you don't do the same thing over and over again. And not all this shit is raining on the coach (although he is the focal point) but the players and admin are copping it too, as they should, because they are all letting us down.

Right so dropping everyone = flag. That sounds easy.

Is this the same Ryan O'Keefe that played 25/25 games in 2013 before been giving the flick - a player that wanted to continue his career but not one team picked up?? Yes that was very big call by those brave Swans.

It was just for you ;)

I actually think we are better than West Coast. And Richmond for that matter.

When we want to be though, that is the problem. Talent wise and game style wise I think we are around the 5-7 mark, but there is something seriously wrong with the team (I include players, coaches and support staff in this) that they cannot lock themselves in on game day half the time. They just cannot do it. It's stuffed up, because with our draw we could have pushed top 4 this year and given ourselves a shot at a flag.

Instead we get....

Unfortunately, that means we're not a better side than them.

Get back to the Sympathy thread, Bill, you're really not doing yourself any favours lately.

"Past performance will not be an indication of future selection"
Asked about changes this week....
Mentions GWS, Sydney and West Coast games.

Looks like Brads media skills are mirroring the team, what a deplorable presser that was.
I'm not sure if he has lost the players, but he is doing his best to lose the supporters.

Well, we are, but only when we are capable of following through on a plan. What I guess I mean is that out best is better than theirs, but we are too flakey to do it regularly. Which, yeah, confirms your comment, but logic is for nerds so I like my story better.
