Sucks that he's gone, but honestly, with the addition of Hamling, plus A Pearce, Collins, a fit Johnson, and even Dawson, he wouldn't see much playing time in the main team.

Another sad song , thanks for the memory you are a champ.remember your first few game so impressive.

Deserves to play on, unfortunately there isn't room on our list, would've been extremely handy as depth though. Wish we kept SCOS and payed out Dawson's contract, his play-style of punching everything he sees while barely marking nor kicking has little place in today's game. Really hope Silva gets a lifeline at a contending team, maybe the Dogs?

No place for a 29 year old depth KPD in a side that's rebuilding. He tried hard but ultimately is still behind Pearce, Hamling, Collins and Dawson. Those four guys offer enough depth IMO for two KPD spots and the first three could quite possibly be in our list for the next 5-6 years. All delistings would be tough, but after securing Hamling and ignoring whether he's a good clubman etc. I would've thought this'd be one of the easiest delistings to make for a team rebuilding.

Good luck to him in life after footy.

The club really do done right thing , if they concentrate trading out barlow and silva and fail to recruit hamling and kersten more postie will be furious, now as delisted FA more club will be interested in them.

Liked Alex but he never had a good run at it, always kept out of the side by injuries, suspensions or RTB's lovechild. All the best SCOS

He was in the right team at the wrong time. He always gave his all at the expense of his own well being.
Crueled by injuries and playing second and third fiddle to Mcpharlin and the guy that can't kick kind of hindered his career.
He made a fit Buddy his bitch.
As long as he could head out wide when he wanted, I reckon he would have been happy with that.

Gonna miss ya SCOS.

Another great clubman departs continuing our mini rebuild.

The cleanout will be largely complete in 12 months.

2017:
Griffin
Suban
Ballantyne
Ibbotson
Dawson

2018
D Pearce

Spurr, Johnson and Sandi probably retire over the next 2 years also.

Guess you can add Mundy to the likely to retire in the next two years list but yes that is everyone else.

The Lyon only plays his favourites mantra has totally gone - I really don't expect Dawson will get a game next year unless injury hits hard.
