wanted to know if there was such thing as the heffernan rule to ban trading of recently signed players?

It was a fantastic move by Miller to sign him up. He forced all the players that underachieved to sign a new contract on significantly less contracts so that they would be attractive to other clubs when trade period comes around.

If he didnt, they wouldnt be very enticing for other clubs wanting to entertain the thoyught.
