The better side won tonight. Doesn’t change Hawthorn’s inconsistency over the past few years which is a telltale sign that the ship has sailed. The reckoning is postponed, not cancelled.
Since Round 15 last year, haven’t Hawthorn beaten all the top 6 sides?

Yes the same one. But as has been raised in this thread those flags were won from his top end draft talent as the core of that success. Is that the same Clarkson that has won 4 premierships in the last 12 years? Surely that is pretty good ahead of the rest of the league!
Lol come on dude, so are North, Port and Essendon and 16 other sides have only played 2 games.Top 4 again. What a surprise

.Yes very good. Needs to do it consistently though. Can't be being destroyed one week and then good again the following weekI thought the much maligned Ceglar was good last night
Beaten the whole top 8 from 2019 in 12 games. This isn't a one off. Last week was.

Clarko takes all credit in a game like last night, but never personally takes responsibility for a loss. Geelong will win the premiership this year.Clarko on the Cats

You mean the guy who was smashed as being arrogant and crazy with his list management, overrated, and having everyone (even me) criticizing the team he went in with?Clarko takes all credit in a game like last night, but never personally takes responsibility for a loss.
