constant drizzle all night. VERY cold. Crowd Nothing compared to last year although building quickly now that the car park is open.

ahh those were the days. a standing room ticket in hand, queueing up at some ungodly hour to get into the G and hopefully secure a spot at the fence behind the seating in the southern stand.

freezing ya **** off, but when ya young ya didnt care - getting a bad cold meant a day off school - but now it means a ton of pills and feeling crap for a week. like i feel today. hate being sick GF day.

Had difficulty staying asleep last night. Woke up about 12:30, then again at about 2:30, then 3:30 and finally around 4:30; at which point I thought "stuff this" and got up, because I obviously wasn't going to be able to get any more sleep with this much excitement running through my veins.

Me too. The nausea's going nuts in me now. Going to be a struggle to get some Grand Final day breakfast into myself and keep it down; but I know I need to do it.

Watching abc for kids with my little boy. SomE kids shows bore the he'll out of me. Couldnt sleep all night and imagined daisy kicked the first four goals and Mick dragged him and belted him for kicking it through the guts to a loose sidebottom when he had a 1 on 1 on the boundary line that he ignored.

Raining all night on this fair city.

Had 4 or five hours on the couch trying to watch the GF replays - woke at 04:30 and read through a few threads.

Not too nervy really just cant wait for the first bounce - "que sera, sera" - GO PIES!
