doesn't really matter only thing extra they will have to do is the coin toss other than that nothing will change besides maybe Goddard giving the pre game rev up

Be great if they gave Heppel a go with it. I know he's young but seems like serious leadership material whenever I hear him speak

I must say I'd be absolutely stoked if they gave Stanton the captaincy if he does play.

He's been here through thick and thin and yet been a constant in his contributions to the team all these years. To finally get some recognition for his years of service even through just the coin toss would warm my heart.

This might sound a bit airy fairy, and I can't quite describe exactly what I mean, but Myers looked like he became the defacto leader against Port.

I'm not quite sure what it was, but he just seemed to be involved in vital passages of play, he was aggressive and vocal (as always), and he seemed to walk a little taller once Jobe went off.

I know that sounds like a load of rubbish, but that's just how I saw it.

scrolled only halfway down this post and lol'd.

definitely agree that he stepped up in the face of disaster, but i'd rather bj or stants take the reigns now that we've had some time to prepare.

Still stand by this.

The Port game was the perfect example of what I mean, with him giving away a stupid and undisciplined free kick when the game was still in the balance.

Jobe is the perfect leader because he leads by example not just with his footall, but with how he conducts himself. Goddard doesn't.
Aaaaand again.

Sooking doesn't help your side, Brendon.
