I really can't see the problem with the club being a bit more open with the media.

Perhaps Ayres should put more effort into trying to work out how his next win is going to happen.

With a 0-4 start the last thing club needs is a chairman coming out and questioning selction.

BS had no right to do what he did especially considering the position club is currently in. He knew it was going to cause a headline. I was really disappointed with BS and that "sledging match" on 5AA was the last thing the club needed.

If BS, as he says, cares about AFC, he should be a bit more careful as to what he can and can't say when the club is in the position its currently in.

Sure, but it would help if all the AFC officials were on the same page...

The bloody Crows must be in trouble if they wish to selectively highlight and then disparage a CHAMPION.

The Crows are 0-4. Obviously that is all Carey's doing.

I have watched 2 Crows games this year - only to watch Carey.
He marked and kicked a fantastic goal from the boundary line in Rd 1 and he took a couple of great marks in rd 4 and set up a couple of goals.

Against the Saints, the Crows went far too wide and crowded the forwarded area. Even Riccutio, when he went forward late in the game, told his players 'to get out and not crowd the forward line.'

It is not that bloody hard. Carey attracts 2 defenders every week, sometimes 3.

Either, have a decoy and let him kick the gaols or let a champion play and get out of his way.

Once again Ayresy handled himself beautifully on TFS tonight.

Yes, I thought he was superb and has been all week.

I think that Gary Ayres is a quality person no matter how it may pan out from here on in. He has been a credit to our club in many ways and I think that histroy will look upon him reasonably fondly, even if he doesn't win us a Premiership.

SOme of the things people have said on this board in recent weeks have been a bit off in my opinion. Sure criticisng Gary's coachign is fair enough but some of the posts were way too personal.

I for one hope that Gary can pull us out of it and resurect his career, no matter how frustrating he can be at times.:D

Bill Sanders on the other hand....................

I should ahve been elected!!:(

Wayne has been average but hopefully will improve shortly

People are hardly jsut blaming Carey. McLeod and others are copping it too

We have dropped at 276 game club legend who means far more to the AFC than Wayne Carey ever will, so there is no vendetta agasint Wayne.

I think you may love Wayne just a little too much

The delivery Wayne's getting from Adelaide's midfielders and running backs it's no surprise he's struggling. For Wayne to lift consequently they need to lift.

Take a look at the silver service Matthew Lloyd gets from the Essendon midfield. Anything close to that from the Adelaide midfield and you'd get 2-3 goals a game without question.

18 minutes to go until the game starts, and I have to admit I agree with you.

I really think Carey will pull out a big one tonight on the centre stage provided by Friday night football.
