I do agree with you on almost every point there. Especially the collingwood one, they are simply looking the better side than us right now.

I know Im being generous with the results being as they are, I am quite content in dismissing a few of the games before the Saints game due to a specific focus being put on this game. If I recall correctly, Bomber publicly stated a month before it, Geelongs game plan was all a preperation on how to beat the Saints.

Bar the first 10 minutes of that match, the boys were absolutely sensational, and showed their planning had worked quite well, as had the Saints planning.

That truly was the greatest game of football I have ever watched (exc 07 GF of course). The club proved its professionalism right at that moment, like no other.

We dominated the majority of that game and wouldve won if not for a terrible umpiring call in the last minute.

This is why I am concerned about what happened after it, they have considerably taken the foot off the proverbial accelerator.

I honestly hope that they have been flat due to somewhat repeating whatever preperation it is they did to produce that intensity.

That all makes perfect sense. And I do understand some of that. My concern though, is that there has been a very strong inference that due to the intensity of the St.Kilda game, we were never going to recover well. Resulting in "injuries" and a bad loss against Brisbane, and sporadic form since then.

There's two flaws to that argument. One is that once we hit the finals they should expect every game to be that tough; and how come St.Kilda still haven't lost since then? It either means we aren't as well prepared, or we simply aren't as tough.

Again, I really hope I'm wrong, but they need to turn it around fast.

This is where the previous years comes into play, we all know how other teams love to come and play their A game against us, we get it week in week out and have for nearly 3 years now. The Saints bodies have only just really started to be challenged as much as we have.

Three possibly valid reasons I can come up with, they are training hard in preperation for finals and doing the same thing they did for the saints game leadup; they are finally physically stuffed due to the constant heavy workload of the previous 3 years; or they have let the hunger and desire slip into laziness and disinterest.

Exciting times, and as Tom proclaimed in 07, WE ARE GEELONG!

Lets hope THAT Geelong turns up very soon.

Yep. One thing I am taking into account, is that Thompson is very shrewd. He gives 1% of what he's actually thinking away to the media. So I've go no doubt they're aware of all these issues, but as we both agree, time's running out to fix them.

It can be corrected. Having Scarlett, Taylor and Kelly back this week is a major step in that direction.

First off, god can suck my ****.

Second, whyd you change your post?

Finally, its nobodys damn business how discipline is instilled in MY kids.

You can give lollipops away all you want, IMO and experience, it won't teach them there are bad consequences for bad actions.

Each to their own, but it is a dated attitude IMO.

You sound angry though - beating your dog, tearing up your membership. I hope everything is ok.
