Seem to remember that's been a challenge?
definitely, another hurdle to overcome. Circumstances aren't ideal so in a way it's lucky we're playing the Blues.

Seem to remember that's been a challenge?
thanks for the 150th reminder, list updated, even more salty that I'll be missing itFor:
Against:
- traditionally play pretty well at Etihad
- coming off a win so confidence is up
- some really handy potential ins
- playing the bottom team
- not played on a Friday night so Carlton may not realise when the game is
- [EDIT] it's Cap'n Nat's 150th, so he gets the keys to Cockburn (WATER SLIDES FOR LIFE, FAM!)
- travel
- six day turnaround vs rested team
- Carlton see this as a winnable game so will put in a bit extra
- some unfortunate outs
- don't have me to shout support at them (actually that could go in both For & Against)
- game will start in the morning WA time, hope we've had our Weet-bix
Freo by 5 points, Brayshaw RS nom (Cerra will get it in round 15 vs Brisvegas)
Sorry to intrude...Good call J...not too fussed if blues win or lose just hoping both teams bring effort and it becomes a good spectacle..of course particularly looking forward to the 2 champs...Cripps v Fyfe.I'm 50/50 on this one. Coming off the bye is traditionally not favourable but neither is the 6 day break.
Our experienced players are better but so many of them are missing. With both Hills and Sonny I would tip us every time. Without them and given our terrible road form I think the Blues eek out their 2nd win by under 10.

Heads up for Melbourne-based members - the annual pre-game function is before the game. Not that it helps me, thanks to my friend deciding to have a 40th at the same time out in the Yarra Valley
IF we lose this game the win on the weekend was all for naught.
Freo by 28pts.
Sandi > Kreuzer
Fyfe > Cripps
Neale > E Curnow
Blakely > Dow
Langdon > Fisher
Cerra > SPS
No excuses for losing. Carlton are putrid.
Doh! forgot to mention Kick me now!!
Fair call...Can't argue with that.Fyfe = Elite champion
Cripps = Potential champion
Imagine a team with both Fyfe and Cripps , They would just bully opposition midfields.Fair call...Can't argue with that.
I rate Cripps highly , Both guys have had a injury setback . Injury free Cripps will just explode next year , Because sometimes it takes a year after a long term injury .Sign him up until he is 30+ he is the real dealFair call...Can't argue with that.
It’s in the “Cerra to Debut” thread; one of your supporters had us in stitches proposing Pickett and a second rounder for Cerra.Where is your banter thread btw?

You would argue with anything , You are from Kalgoorlie like me , Born Norseman raised Kalgoorlie . But you are wrongI can … Fyfe … star on decline ..
Cripps beast on the rise ...

Kade Simpson is the only Blues player I'd be looking to tag. A good accumulator and leads their 'metres gained' by quite a fair margin. They have so few good players, if you can nullify one or two of them you're 3/4's the way to winning.
Sandi takes on Kreuzer
Fyfe v Cripps
Giro/Banfield on Simpson?

I wonder if France will score more collective goals than both of our teams??
