Silvagni just confirmed on SEN that we'll make only two selections in the rookie draft.

Sos on SEN confirming we will only take two rookies. And save a list spot for mid year draft next year
Smart move, and explains why we're not looking at the Hickmott boys.

Interested to see if we'll target Kyle Reid given he's still on the board.

Interesting when you factor in some of the Northern Blues signing - potential way of getting all the NB players to really work hard if they want to make it onto our senior list - lifting the whole squad in the process.

From what I've heard and seen of the guys training with us, Blakey and Fisher have impressed from Northern and Lamb has come back in ripping shape. Haven't heard much to suggest Goddard has earned a 2nd chance, but wouldn't be surprised. Though with BSOS (key back) on board, not sure we need another KPD.

Really hope we go after at least one overlooked player in the rookie draft.
Sydney has made a habit of picking good footballers here as have many other clubs.

I have no issue giving a 2nd chance to any player but you have to be in it to win it when it comes to the diamonds in the rough.

Loved SOS getting picks back for next year, plenty to work with.

Still some talent left for the rookie draft, in bold, kids I like:

Stack
Khamis
Bowman
Andrews
McKenzie

Reid
Podhajski
Greaves

Garoni
Hanrahan
McGuiness
Moore
Lewis
Richards

Barzen
Ayton-Delaney
Munn
McGannon
Pickett
O'Reilly
Munn

With 2 picks it will be interesting. Thought we would go 2 mature players but there is some good kids still available.

With some of the talent that didn't get picked up, wouldn't be surprised to see us picking up one, with the other spot being a mature...Blakey/Fisher seems the obvious, but wouldn't be surprised to see a Bugg or Goddard
