Trading pick 8 is costing us more and more by the day.....

Short term maybe, but big picture stuff it's good for our reputation as traders and player managers who tell their clients to come to Carlton, as we get deals done.. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, Dodo will just waste the pick anyway on a HBF of injury prone KPP.

Still got no real idea who the Camry's will take with their pick.

Carlton are surely seriously considering trading 31 + 38 (equiv pick 16) for Richmond's pick 17 that they have just offered up.

Would be silly not to consider it.

Question is - why do Richmond trade down in a draft they already don't rate?

Any trade for 17 will need a decent future pick involved.
 
Also for some reason, I think Boekhorst could have been a reasonable player at AFL level if he was drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round, and not at a club as dysfunctional as the current WH administration.
