Just thought it is worth pointing it out that the Blues have done a stellar job winning games on the road. The good teams play well wherever, not just at home and I feel that Carlton has certainly lived up to that expectation of a rapidly rising good side of the competition.

Yes, Port and Gold Coast were not necessarily "hard" opponents - Port came at us pretty hard early in our contest, and anything was possible against the debuting Gold Coast in rd3. Sydney though was a tough night out, and Fremantle is always dangerous even with their injury list.

Congrats to the club for improving our performance on the road, especially for our supporters and members who either live outside Victoria and those who travel with the cheer squad :thumbsu:.

History says nows that there's a thread on it, we will somehow play WC at Patersons and lose.

Thanks in advance. ;)

Did very well to beat Freo and Sydney, considering we lost both of those games last season. :thumbsu:

The lead-up to GC was kinda frightening because nobody knew what they would serve up. In hindsight it is laughable that we were worried about them at all. Same can be said for Port, I guess.

What about our record in that awful clash strip? Have we lost a game in that yet?

Perfect record in the Powder Puff Blue clash strip this year. :thumbsu:

Have played 4 games & won all 4 against St Kilda, Melbourne, Port Adelaide and Fremantle.

Not nearly as laughable as the number of "experts" who tipped them to beat us, only to then turn around and act as if a 20-goal win was a formality and calling us flat-track bullies.

So assuming we finish 5th, if we wear that jumper week 1 we can lock in a win, then we travel away to Subi so thats a lock win. That then leaves us 2 more games to wear the powder puff clash strip and the flag is ours!!

Of course the only downside is we have to put up with watching that powder puff outfit 3 more times this year but I think I can handle it :thumbsu:

*EDIT* Failed to take into account the fact collingwood can't beat us in grand finals so we can go back to our normal strip and extend our streak to 101 years without loss.

We can seriously thank Cordy for the improvement in interstate trips over the last few years. His experience with a travelling Australian Cricket side has been so instrumental in getting the right set up and structuring for the boys.
