Genuinely has zero physical strength.

Yep his lack of physicality is very noticeable even at this level, will get bullied by AFL rucks / defenders.

Adams has been ok , Jefferson had one really good q spoiled by his spraying his set shots . Tholstrup has shown some good stuff . Varrell has tried hard. he reminds me of an old fashion ruck . Seston has had some moments too . The VFL boys have tried hard but just lack the skill.

Tholstrup - clean, quick and decisive.

Sestan - aggressive and powerful.

Jefferson - could have kicked 5+ with kicking boots on

Verrall - showed signs in the air marking and goal sense too

Moniz-Wakefield - showed some class but not impactful enough.

Adams - looked far more confident and capable than he did last year.

Brown - worked his way into the game as it continued but nothing special.

Not a great team performance but you have to expect that with the lack of experience on the field.

There were enough positive moments from individuals though.

Reckon there's a core group of decent youngsters getting to know each other's games at Casey as they bide their time to come into the senior team eventually. We need to still top up a with few more A graders IMO, but we're in an ok place for the future.

Must say Tholstrup did some very good work in and under today . Has pace and doesn't lack courage. Some of his handballs out of a pack were very good.

Whoever was behind the move in playing him in defence last week needs to be shot.

100% , trying to be too big brain. Glad to see they realised it after one game and didnt persist however so at least they have that going for them.

He'd wanna. Hogan won the VFL goal kicking at 17 years old. VFL level key defenders are absolutely garbage he should be dominating most weeks by the end of this season

Unfortunately Fullerton did look very Schache-esque. Nice skills, reasonable mover, low physicality and aggression.

Ever since COVID I reckon that state vs state thing is more back in vogue than ever. Would still work as carnival type thing. Would love it to be played and they shorten the season to 17 games so it's fair.
