I hope not. Newton is pathetic. The only thing going for him is his height with the way our list currently stands. No tall forwards = possibility of Newton getting games. It's unfortunate but true.

Not pathetic, just incredibly lazy.

If he worked hard he could become a good forward option for us, shame is I don't see him working hard to become that forward.

Perhaps we are both right - pathetically lazy!

We moved the ball incredibly well in the first one & half quarters then fell away dramatically. If I was to use another tall down forward I think I would lean towards using Dunn. He has shown in the last couple of seasons that he has a huge motor being used as a run with player. Coupled with the fact that he was originally drafted as a tall forward & playing his first handful of games as a forward - I would give him another shot playing the floating high forward position.

KC from Casey:
Casey doing it comfortably. Robbo's been lively and took his second hanger but his pass went astray. Scorps 9.5.59 to Tigers 4.5.29.

Goals Liddle, Newton 2, Jurrah, McLeod, Robertson, Valenti, Waite

Best for Casey - Bail, Meeson, Robertson, Liddle, Wall
Might be a few selection dilemmas for next week, particulary Robbo and Meesen.

Great to see Bail going well.

Good to see a positive result for the club. If Meesen managed to put in a solid performance throughout the fixture, I think he should get a shot at the big time.

Depending on fitness, I also think Robbo will be in the side at the expense of someone like Jetta.

On a side note, any news on Maric?

Bail and Meesen must play next week. It's too early for Robbo, 1 more week.

Drop PJ for sure. Both he and Spence had 8 hit outs but half of Spence's were to advantage, non of PJ's were. Spence was always competing, PJ looked out of touch. It was PJ who was 20m away from Faser when he slotted an easy goal.

Bail is hard to get into the side as we are loaded up with relatively experienced but underperforming midfielders, and if we drop Bennell it means Bartram is back on a flank and not tagging. But Bail deserves a spot. I see no reason why he shouldn't be given a chance to tag, he has the speed and endurance. Also Petterd only had 3 touches and none in the second half, despite his great game in round 1 he must come under fire. Jetta the obvious out but I'd like to replace him with another forward preferably Maric.

If Meesen comes in, it has to be for PJ. Mobile for mobile.

We've been smashed by McIntosh and Fraser in consecutive weeks, I don't like the look of Brendon Lade next week.

Nice to hear Robbo had a good game, also nice to hear the Scorpians having a win, nice to have a win somewhere lol. BTW, do they put these games on TV anymore, like on abc or whatever?

pretty sure they have them on abc a game on a sat not sure if they show the sunday games or not will have to keep an eye on the tv guide see if i can catch a casey game sometime

edit: just checked tv guide they show a game every sat at 1pm not sure how they sort there fixture as in who will be shown on tv but i would suggest that casey will be on there at some point will have 2 keep an eye on it

Alright cool, will have to keep an eye out on that tv guide then hey lol. It's gonna be weird watching Casey instead of sandringham now lol. Go the Scorps!

I'm a Scorpian in astrology, following the Scorpians makes sence in more ways then one :D
