It was threatened for Dawson, so it would not feel entirely fair for it to seemingly only get threatened against Swans players.

The PSD is another reason though I would rather trade Warner now if he wants to leave. I don't want what happened with Adelaide and Dawson to happen with Warner, where we got way unders for him while Adelaide fans pretended we got an amazing deal.

Absolutely zero chance we screw Sydney over via the PSD for Warner. Zero. Our clubs have a fantastic trade relationship and whilst it would be less next year than if it was this year we’d pay a fair price.

They're right in the middle of a premiership window. Warner is pretty key to that. They'll still get a good haul next year.

They still might, but would have to be for something that gets them closer to a flag than Warner does.

May not have those options available yet, so smart thing to do is to shut it down, and see if the WA teams come begging while they look at options.

If it were next year they'd have to. 2 firsts and a 2nd is enough for any OOC player.

The issue would more likely be salary related if we got the other two.

Salary would be a issue too. It may be a case of moving a player on too for the exact reason you said. Free up some salary work a asset in. Brennan Cox would be a good candidate for that

It is OOC, because that's how it works. Same way Smith is going for 15 + 30odd this year.

Salary is the issue and possibly the AFL letting us trade those picks in the first place.

If I'm freo then I'd have zero interest in kysiah and Bolton. They'd be paying overs this year. Bolton might be worth a pick in 20s next year, if he's form continues. If the dees don't play finals, kysiahs value will also drop
