Bad luck anyway boys, bit inaccurate with 6.16 but we'll work on that back at training.

Good to see myself back in some good form with 21 disposals and 7 tackles. Still a bit rusty though with the 3 behinds and 5 frees against.

Pretty much all of our players were not on their game, considering Rojo and I was the only one to get over 20 possies. Peterss was quiet, but watch him roar back to form.

Well, to be brutally honest, we probably deserved that defeat. We have been quiet. But I have faith we will turn it on for the season.

Dont worry Gumbies its only a pre-season game....Better to be losing now then in the real season...That said some fo our key players were definately down on possesions in this game which is a bit of a worry but still plenty of time to fix our weaknesses before the season proper...

Match fitness is the most important thing at this stage of the season and we have had plenty of that with our practice matches and pre-season games now its time to build on this and fix the area's we may be a bit weak in and then redeem ourselves in 2010.

Thanks for the hit out Bombers, much appreciated. That first quarter was a killer for you guys I think. It's only pre-season form I know however everyone's prediction that we are certainties for the spoon seems to be way off the mark, we are getting better each game. GO ROYS!
