I don't, two of my mates are on their list. I'd change it back but I can't be bothered right now (not as if it matters) - disillusioned with Footy nowadays anyway, not the one-eyed Hawk I used to be so I rarely post on the AFL boards here.
Must be hard doing a threepeat, my heart goes out to you

I just want to win at the Emirates for a change. Actually I'd like to see us make a real statement of intent to everyone else. We're the favourites to be the first team to actually defend it for a reason - and probably the most capable in recent years to do it too. There's something about the final been at the San Siro given AC still remain the last side to defend it.

Bring on Juve - Bayern. Easily the tie of the round. Hopeful that Juventus can get the job done but I suspect Bayern will just edge it. Should be two cracking games.

That wasn't the point, airhead.
I know, but any criticism of modern footy is surely 10 times worse in European soccer?

No, not in my opinion. The main issue in ES is of course corruption within governing bodies - the rest of what's wrong with the world game is easy to swallow, accept and take in stride (contrary to AFL).

Does anyone know how SBS "choose" their games? There never seems to be any rhyme or reason to it... aside from the fact that they always seem to choose the wrong match.

No disrespect to Benfica or Zenit - but how the **** does SBS end up showing that game instead of Chelsea and PSG? Do they just have an inferior deal now whereby BeIn gets first pick and SBS second pick? (as opposed to ESPN and SBS where they would sometimes show the same game if there was a clear stand out.)

I get so few chances to watch PSG, I was a bit disappointed :(

None at all, have zero connection to the city. Been supporting the club since 03/04 though which was around when I started taking the sport a bit more seriously. Always one to do things differently, I went against the majority of my mates who jumped on the EPL bandwaggon and since I knew a bit of Spanish from school I decided to chose Barcelona.. Ronaldinho helped too, i'll admit. Didn't quite anticipate the ridiculous amount of success that would come over the past decade or so but I'll take it. Been a great ride watching the growth of Messi.

If Chelsea do happen to get past PSG, they're automatically one of the favourites to win it regardless of their domestic shortcomings. I'd actually say Bayern and Atletico aside, they're the one team I'd rather avoid.

Maybe so on paper you can easily say that MSN will pretty much destroy any defence put in front of them as quite simply, they're that good.. 208 goals since the start of last season and they're actually getting better as a trio.

Back to Chelsea though, we've never been great against them, never. Even when we've gone through at their expense, it's never been convincing. In a 2 legged affair in the one competition they'll be doing their utmost to win as winning it is the only way they're going to feature in the CL next season, yeah, there's a hell of a lot of other teams I'd rather face. They're got more than enough experience and individual quality to get the job done on the day. That all said, it's purely hypotheticals as I do expect PSG to get the job done in a rather efficient manner.

You've never been great against them but they've never been this bad in their 12 year history.

In my experience they always show the Premier League club in the second leg so they can get 120 minutes + penalties out of it. If there's no English club the most glamorous club gets the second leg.

Nah, they'll show a game likely to come down to the wire in the second leg.

If Zenit Benfica is close today while say PSG Chelsea is a 3-0/4-0 rout they'll show Zenit Benfica again in the second leg.

However, it is silly showing Zenit Benfica, no disrespect to them, but how many fans are there around Australia? I'd say close to **** all. We have strong roots to say England, Scotland, Italy, Greece etc as they immigrated down here over the years and some parts of Eastern Europe too like Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Turkey etc, clubs representing those countries should get priority imo.

German and Spanish clubs should get priority over Russian/Portuguese clubs too, due to those leagues being bigger and more popular.
