I would be hesitant to move Bergmann since he seems to be finding his position.

Had a ripper game on the weekendSame goes for Jonas. He's settled nicely the past few weeks. Seems to have found the ideal position.
Lycett was BOG at the end of first quarter; albeit, I can not see him playing for any team next week (after landing flat on his back).I missed the first quarter and Lycett was already off the ground once i started watching but statistically it suggests Lycett started the game pretty well? 6 possessions, 4 tackles, 3 clearances, 7 hitouts, and did he even last a full quarter of footy?
Nearly equaled Sam Hayes output for the entire game.

He was lightning in the sanfl. Super quick. Stuffs up the kick most of the time but he gets separation on his opponent very quickly.Has Sinn got his speed back yet tho? was he breaking away from packs etc?
Disagree, Bonner can not defend, he is good at running to receive but where is his opponent?I normally don’t mind Bonner but I don’t think he really made the most of his opportunity on Friday night. It definitely wasn’t his best game, ditto Burgoyne.
Duursma out saves at least one of them for next weekend though.

Spot on, playing Williams and the Bergman down back has changed the dynamics of our defence.I would be hesitant to move Bergmann since he seems to be finding his position.
I like Dumont, he is carrying the Magpies and is the forgotten soldier, where people forget his is only 27 years old.OUT: Teakle , Duursma, Lord
IN : Lycett, Bonner, Marshall, Dumont
Mac & Cheese Sub
Other options for Bonner are; Boak plays on the wing and we replace Bonner and X with either Evans, Sinn or Dumont. What other options are there? Teakle is also a very bad option in ruck but we seemingly have nothing better. The depth in the league is appalling and a 19th team will just make it worse again.

He may get a chance on the wing or for team balance, but Boakie played his best game for quite some time on wing.
Boak attended 12 Centre Bounces after not attending any in the 3 weeks previous. Getting more time in the middle i think probably contributed to his good form Friday as much as anything.I like Dumont, he is carrying the Magpies and is the forgotten soldier, where people forget his is only 27 years old.

No. He needs time to physically develop.Does Tom Scully get a look-in? Same sort of SANFL performance that saw Lord called up. If best on ground in the reserves doesn't get you a game it's like being back in the Choco days. Mind you Goldsack did temper his praise with comments on inconsistent effort from Scully in previous games.

Dumont can play when Boak needs a rest.I like Dumont, he is carrying the Magpies and is the forgotten soldier, where people forget his is only 27 years old.

I’d bring Jones in and push Bergman back up to a wing.
It must be tempting to give Sinn a run as sub soon. His leg speed coming on in the 4th quarter could be a weapon.
If it was actually my decision. Hayes would be #1 ruck.So who does the ruckwork? Finlayson is too valuable up forward as he has booted 10.3 in his last four games and Dixon looked to be playing on one leg last week. I am with those who think it's time to give Sam Hayes another run, he cannot be much worse then Brynn Teakle.
They need to give him continuity of games at the lower level to keep honing his craft. There's a lot of future potential there. A lot more than Lord, but he isn't ready for AFL yet.Does Tom Scully get a look-in? Same sort of SANFL performance that saw Lord called up. If best on ground in the reserves doesn't get you a game it's like being back in the Choco days. He's gone.Imagine if they actually picked Sam Hayes. I'd fall off my chair
Burgoyne needs to be encouraged to run with the footy again, he looked timid. In Jonas, Bonner, Marshall
Maybe think about pushing Bergman up the ground and playing Burgoyne but Bergman is way too good back and Burgoyne was poor.
