Dixon, Marshall, Finlayson is a great forwardline of talls and the structure they bring is important. Don’t forget how we almost broke even against crappy West Coast once Marshall was KO’d with no Dixon.

When good teams start to dominate our midfield - usually this year Lycett was the issue and when Dixon went in the ruck it changed the game. So it’s a rob Peter to pay Paul situation.

So far against WC and StK Teakle has done his job our mids have been on top. Probably the same against ESS and Norf. The issue will be against Gawn/Melb - good ruck and midfield - I don’t think we will have an answer.

We play to Gawn.

So Dixon said he had a “PCL injury…or issue…” what does that mean? Is it a tear or is it buggered? Does he play on one leg all year or is there eventually a game where he does irreparable damage and is then out for 8 weeks?

exactly! is it worth getting him right now, miss 8 weeks but have him at the pointy end if we are good enough?

If it was actually my decision. Hayes would be #1 ruck.
If I was told by the list manager to not pick him for whatever reason and I wanted to win, I would pick Lycett or Finlayson as ruck.
If I was picking for the post-Hinkley era, I would pick Visentini
In no circumstance would I pick Teakle. It will be an extremely weird selection if we stick with Teakle after how insanely bad he has been.
The issue with Teakle is that sooner or later one of these opposition ruckmen will not only be BOG but will hurt us on the scoreboard too and Draper could be the man.

Typical AFL
They knew that Travis Boak would be beating the AFL games record for Port Adelaide this week and they schedule it for the early game on Sunday, it wont stop me from congratulating him!

Someone needs to tap Jonas and Lycett on the shoulder and tell them they should retire.
Jonas should bash Jonas like Jim Carey in the courthouse bathroom in Liar Liar.

A motivational speech from Ken Hinkley towards the Port Adelaide players but in the style of an elder scrolls oblivion NPC

Greetings, honored players of the Port Adelaide. I am Ken Hinkley, your coach and guide to victory. Today, we face a great challenge on the field, but I have faith in you.
Listen well, my friends, for the path to success is fraught with obstacles, but with perseverance and determination, we shall overcome them all. Do not be disheartened by setbacks or failures, for they are but temporary roadblocks on the journey to greatness.
Remember, the strength of our team lies not in any one individual, but in the collective effort of every member. We are all in this together, and we must work as one to achieve our goals.
So go forth, my friends, and give it your all. Let nothing stand in your way. Fight with all your might, and let the glory of victory be ours. For we are the Port Adelaide Power, and we shall triumph over all who dare stand in our way!
