Keep him for Roos, then give him a freshen up against Weagles (good chance to look at a few fringe players anyway). Might well happen. But he won't be dropped for finals to be sure, to be sure.

Freshen up? With so many guys pushing for a spot in the side, Rooke's poor form has made him a fringe player. The idea of him being rested is ridiculous.

He's gotta come out this week and prove why he shouldn't be dropped.

Especially after his poor finals series last year, most notably, the prelim.

to me stokes is another who has gone under the radar with pretty average form

final word on rooke, we need him as he can protect the on ballers, and do a role if ling needs a big mac

I agree with you on the sublect of Rooke, but to say Stokes has been average is a bit much.

Overall, I agree with rizzo's assessment.

I think the mere presence of rooke on the field spurs a lot of blokes in the team on. Yes might not do as much with the ball as others but for me personally..hes gotta be in the team and his bone crunching tackles are sen bloody sational!

Stokes has been good, imo. Not amazing, but he does seem to have a bit more of a role in the midfield which may take some getting used to. But he is still good with the ball when he gets it, still is a dangerous player up forward. No reason to get rid of him.
