Jurrah straight back in?

Have Casey played yet?

Anyway:

OUT: Bate, Green, Rivers, Strauss

IN: McDonald, Blease, Nicholson, Sylvia

Im hoping like everyone that Jurrah, Morton and Sylvia absolutely dominate at Casey...

if they do.

In - Jurrah, Sylvia, Jamar, Morton, Nicholson

Out - Strauss (inj) Rivers, Green, Bate, Gawn,

In all seriousness can we not have stupid outs? We all want Green to go but it won't happen - not while he is captain anyway. I'm not defending him, just saying it will never happen, so it's not worth putting him in the outs.

Out: Strauss, Bate, Gawn

In: Nicholson, Sylvia, Jamar (unless still inj, then Gawn stays)

No tall backs dropped for me. WCE have a very tall forwardline.

OUT: Strauss, Bate

IN: Nicholson/Blease, Sylvia (if he plays well)

Not entirely sure about all my ins and outs yet but I'll say 1 thing, the lads will be better for an 8 day break.:thumbsu:

I would leave it open pending VFL form, whoever is best for casey plays....a big opportunity for some of the younger boys

Spot on TMS but Bennel instead of nicholson

Rivers is the bloke who wears #27 and was dominating #8 Kreuzer pretty much all day right? I mean I did miss the first 5 minutes so I guess he could've had a field day in that short time? Was it the one mark Warnock got on him late in the game that means he should be dropped?

i'll give an extended bench pending the VFL.. however

IN: Blease, Sylvia, Morton, Jamar, Jurrah (only if his goals arent gimmies tommorrow)
OUT: Strauss (inj), Bate, Gawn

FB: Rivers - Frawley - Bartram
HB: Tapscott - Garland - Jones
C: Scully - McKenzie - Gysberts
HF: Petterd - Dunn - Green
FF: Davey - Watts - Howe
FOL: Martin - Trengove - Moloney
INT: Jamar, Blease, Morton, Jamar, Sylvia, Jurrah.

West Coast's forward line is a worry:
Kennedy (will be back), Darling, Lynch, Cox/Natanui, Lecras
Will Frawley or Garland take Kennedy and who would take Lecras? McDonald or Davis could be brought in to cover the height of their forward line perhaps? Im not sure if macdonald has the airial prowess to take a darling..

Out: Strauss, Bate, Gysberts
In: Bennell, Jurrah, Sylvia

All like-for-like. Would be nice to have Jamar back too, Max looked all the 4-game player he is today.

Probably the most interesting Casey game all year for me in terms of considering ins and outs for the Demons.

Personally I don't think the "statement" of dropping Sylvia and Jurrah will have any impact if one or both return to the seniors on the back of average performances at Casey. They need to play well before being considered imo.

Now that finals are out of the question, we should really look at getting a few games into Blease and Cook.

Outs: Rivers, Davey, Bate, Strauss, Spiderman

In Blease, Cook, Sylvia, Jurrah Warnock

Cook is playing VFL 2's this week so i can't see that happening, Fitzpatrick is closer if he can get on the end of a couple today. Also no point droping Davey after just 1 game back.

I want to have a look at Tom McDonald before years end. Super competitor that is a big strong farm boy.

For mine
Out: Strauss, Tapscott, Bate
In: Blease, Jurrah, Sylvia

Me too, would also like to see a bit of Troy Davis but it's probably asking too much to debeut them both in the next 4 weeks.

Apparently Cook hesitated going into a contest once or twice and that's why he was dropped.

It's a bit out of character for him to be honest.

Why not try Warnock at CHF, leave Watts at FF all day, and let the crumbers feed off them. A lot of people write Warnock off, but some backmen can make a good transition up forward..... yes he is no Allister Lynch but you never know if you don't try things.

Out: Strauss, Bate, Gysberts, (Gawn, Rivers)

In: Blease, Jurrah, Morton, (Jamar, Warnock/McDonald)

Want to find room for Jetta, who was apparently good today for Casey, but not sure who he replaces. Tapscott if he doesn't get up I suppose, otherwise Jetta might come in ahead of Blease.

i think davis could be an ideal replacement for strauss really... similar size although davis is much better in the air and against the eagles talls could be handy.

Definitely don't include Sylvia and Jurrah, from all accounts were poor. Morton sounded like he played quite well, would be great to reward him if it was good and get his confidence up. Remind him of his blinder against the Eagles in 2009.

Out: Strauss, Tapscott, Bate, Rivers
In: McDonald, Nicholson, Morton, Blease

We need some class around the outside at Etihad, which Morton and Blease can certainly provide. Although there's no way they'll play Morton on a wing. Where did he play for Casey? Nicholson to give us some juice and run from defence, and McDonald to replace Rivers.

Don't think it will happen, but would be very excited to see either McDonald or Fitzpatrick given a game.

McDonald has been good all year from reports, but we are not lacking for tall defenders currently. With Strauss out, Nicholson might get a reprieve (Bennell not in good enough form - going backwards?).

Ins:Warnock Blease Jamar Morton Sylvia
Outs:Strauss & Tapscott (both injured) Gawn Bartram Bate

Need the extra tall in the backline (Warnock)
Blease for Strauss
Jamar (if fit) for Gawn
Sylvia for Bate
Morton for Tapscott

Sylvia & Morton can count themselves lucky & Jurrah needs more than one game at Casey to force his way back into the team!

We aren't lacking for tall defenders, true... but it doesn't mean we shouldn't give the younger ones a chance - particularly in the last 3 rounds - easier sides, and when/if we lose to WC this week our final chances are over too.

Garlo just hasn't looked his best self, and Rivers is Rivers... pity that Riv is in the leadership group as i doubt they will drop him - i'd love to see Davis or T-Mac in his place, even give them half a game up forward and half down back.
